Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you (or the organization you represent) and CeeVeeMatch ("we", "us") governing your use of the CeeVeeMatch platform, websites, and APIs (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The service

CeeVeeMatch is an AI-assisted CV/resume screening tool that helps recruiters and hiring teams rank candidates against a job description. The Service includes:

  • CV file upload, parsing, and extraction of structured candidate data
  • AI-generated match scores across multiple dimensions
  • Shortlist management, candidate notes, and export
  • Optional team collaboration and integrations (where applicable)

3. Account and access

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password secret, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@ceeveematch.comif you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Screen CVs without the legal authority to process the candidate's personal data
  • Make hiring decisions in ways that violate applicable anti-discrimination laws
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying AI models
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without our written consent
  • Upload material that infringes third-party intellectual property or contains malware
  • Bypass plan limits, rate limits, or authentication controls

5. AI outputs — disclaimers

Match scores, candidate rankings, and reasoning text generated by the Service are decision support, not decisions. You remain solely responsible for any hiring decisions made on the basis of the Service's outputs.

AI outputs may contain errors, biases, or inaccuracies. We provide explainability features (per-dimension scores and reasoning) to help you audit the outputs, and we strongly recommend human review before any consequential decision.

6. Plans, billing, and trials

  • Plans and prices are described on our Pricing page. Limits include the maximum number of active job descriptions and CVs per JD.
  • Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. Charges renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) until you cancel.
  • We may change prices on 30 days' notice. The new price applies to the next renewal of your subscription.
  • Refunds: we offer a pro-rata refund within 14 days of the first charge if you are not satisfied, no questions asked. Afterwards, payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Data ownership and license

Your data is yours. You retain all rights, title, and interest in the CVs, job descriptions, and other content you submit ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to process Customer Data solely to operate the Service for you, as set out in our DPA.

We do not train our AI models on the raw text of your Customer Data. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage statistics (e.g. score distributions) to improve the Service.

8. Confidentiality

Each party will keep the other's confidential information confidential and will use it only to perform under these Terms. "Confidential Information" includes any information one party makes available to the other that is identified as confidential or that a reasonable person would understand to be confidential.

9. Termination

You may cancel at any time from the billing settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms (including non-payment) on notice; we will give you a reasonable period to cure where appropriate.

On termination, we will delete or return your Customer Data per the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.

10. Warranties and disclaimers

We provide the Service "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that AI outputs will be accurate, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for lost profits or revenues.
  • Each party's total liability arising out of these Terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, the above limits apply to the greatest extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from third-party claims arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your processing of Customer Data in violation of applicable law, or (c) your hiring decisions made using the Service.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bangkok, Thailand, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days before they take effect by email or in-app banner. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
